Their faces are the playing pieces. The rules are their emotions! Ridiculously charming puzzles, wrapped around an epic tale of love and danger, topped off with an authentic old-time stringband soundtrack! The goal is to put every one next to their friends. But you can’t please everybody all the time.
Careful where you place me, stranger. I don’t like robots or bugs. I do like reviews though.
Girls Like Robots is an arrangement puzzle game. You put the pieces near things to get a specific goal. In this case, usually, happiness. Girls Like Robots has you arranging everyone to maximize happiness or anger, with some various twists. For instance, one set of levels has you leaving a space open to let a girl get a date.
I have experienced a scaling bug. I have reported it to the developer, but it has not been fixed as of this writing. The game autoscales to both of my monitors, but only displays on one. I can get it down to one screen, but it doesn’t save my settings.
Overall, Girls Like Robots is a good way to kill a few minutes, but it can also get frustrating. I give it slightly toasted bread as my final rating.
