Let’s super high jump through the screen! 6180 the moon offers a fresh, unseen game play style by connecting the top and bottom of the screen. This allows in a mechanic with delightfully long jumps and no fear of “slipping” to death.
All hope has disappeared, the people pray for a good review. Unfortunately, you have me doing it.
6180 the moon is a fast platforming game that is quite frustrating. It isn’t rage quit inducing, just frustrating. The game has you high jumping through the levels looping from top to bottom and vice-versa. You reach the end of each level as you avoid spikes and other obstacles. The game isn’t too hard, but there are several levels that make you mildly frustrated trying to beat them. The aesthetics of the game are simple, but pleasing, and the soft music also helps keep you calm.
The sun has disappeared, and it’s up to a glowing ball to find it. Enter: The moon. The story is very simple, but it gives a reason for the moon to go meandering through the solar system. It’s far from complex, so just enjoy it.
Overall, I give 6180 the moon a toast rating. It’s simple, but fun. It’s frustrating, but doesn’t make you want to quit. This review is honestly so small because there isn’t a whole lot to say about the game. I enjoyed it and think many others will, but it’s not anyone’s magnum opus.
