I come from the Net to this place, Big News. To review and recommend. Defend my friends, their computers, and their libraries from terrible games. My format: Critic. REBOOT!
Gameplay
Mighty Switch Force Academy is a 2D puzzle platformer. The player navigates each level, finding the Hooligan Sisters and returning to Corporal Gendarmor to complete the level. The game is controlled via they keyboard with rebindable keys. I found the arrow keys with z and x worked best for me. As the player navigates each level, they must use their pellet gun to take out enemies and their siren at to swap blocks so they can navigate platforms or activate puzzles.

I don’t know why all my screenshots have a giant black border, okay?
 Atmosphere
If you’ve played any of the Mighty series, this one really doesn’t bring anything new to the table. The art is better in this one, but it still uses mostly the same music and assets. That’s not to say it isn’t good, however. It fits it’s theme well.
Bugs
I didn’t encounter any game breaking bugs, however, it does suffer framerate issues. I’m not sure if they use some sort of shaders my graphics card doesn’t like, or if it’s just not optimized well, but it’s random drops can be a pain or a blessing.
Overall I have to give Mighty Switch Force Academy a bread rating. It’s a fun puzzle platformer, but it brings nothing new to the series and suffers from some framerate issues as mentioned before. I recommend the series as a whole if you like these kind of games, but honestly? Stick with 1 or 2.
